  • Toys
  • Mattresses
  • Chairs
  • Doors
  • Carpet: (cut into 4' long x 18" diameter Rolls

Not Accepted:

  • Appliances
  • Hazardous Waste
  • Yard Waste
  • Broken Glass
  • Tires (See below for tire recycling info)

Bring items to the 645 Railroad, 8 am-12 pm. 

    Scrap Tire Program

    • Only residential passenger and truck tires will be accepted. 
    • Tires from businesses will NOT be accepted. 
    • Each household will be allowed to deposit a maximum of (5) scrap tires (off rim).
      • If you are a resident with more than five (5) tires, please contact Metro Waste Authority to seek an exemption.
    • The following types of tires will NOT be accepted:
      • Scrap tires generated by any business
      • Large semi trailer tires
      • Farm or tractor tires
      • Solid tires such as lawnmower, forklift, or golf cart tires
      • Tires containing hazardous materials
      • Stockpiled tires, only for residential customers
