A community hub for all to access and explore resources that entertain and empower lifelong learning.

Support Groups

The library has two groups that provide additional funding, volunteers and resources beyond the scope of the library budget.

The Carlisle Library Foundation exists to help raise money for the current and future building projects of the Carlisle Public Library. The Carlisle Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Financial gifts of any size are most welcome. Your tax-deductible contribution may be made out to the Carlisle Library Foundation and mailed to PO BOX 99, Carlisle, IA 50047. Please email your questions to carlislelibraryfoundation@gmail.com. 

The Friends of the Library Group is a group of volunteers dedicated to promoting positive community support for the Carlisle Public Library, sponsoring special events, and raising additional money to purchase a variety of items not funded by the regular library budget. The Friends of the Library  is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization.
