I wear a lot of different hats to generally oversee administration of the city and help Carlisle’s elected officials implement and accomplish their goals for the city.

After growing up in Nevada, Iowa, I earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Go Big Red) and then pursued my Masters of Public Administration at Drake University. I worked as City Administrator/Clerk in Marengo, Iowa from January 2016 until coming to Carlisle in August 2018. I currently live with three pets; Tagro is a stray tabby cat from my time in Marengo, Meeko is a suprisingly lazy jack russell/chihuahua, and Lotte is a cute mini australian shepherd/pomeranian that enjoys causing chaos. I love listening to all kinds of new music so if you hear some weird music emanating from somewhere in the back of City Hall, it is probably coming from my office. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, collecting houseplants and vinyl records, and woodworking.

Carlisle provides a lot of opportunity to grow and develop professionally in my position while affording the opportunity to stay personally connected to its business leaders, citizens, and staff. Carlisle’s small but growing size means I can be more active and present in our different departments within the City, involved with the Chamber, and connected to what is going on with our non-profits.
